[indiana-discuss] OpenSolaris build 124 and Tamil font rendering

I recently upgraded to OpenSolaris build 124 and suddenly find that my 
native font rendering is messed up.
Was there any change to GNOME font rendering libs (Pango/Xft) between 
123 and 124?
I had gone back to b123 since then and forgot to take a screenshot of 
the problems in b124.
If I put it in text, there are separate characters in tamil for 'k', for 
'u', and one for 'ku'. But with 124, I am getting as 'k u'. I hope it is 
clear :) I will try and get some screenshots, if required.
