Dear Mr. J. M. Garg ji,
Many thanks for guiding me to the links. It is very interesting. I
have quite a few of these trees quite close to my place and though the
pest was all prevailing, it has not affected a single tree in my
holding.
Sometimes I wonder if it is due to the fact that I have an entire
range of trees, (not monoculture). One more reason could be the
presence of birds in very large numbers. The growth of lush green
leaves was so inviting that a pack of langurs were always around
eating the fresh leaves. I suppose this is a lesson that we should
allow nature to maintain the balance and it takes care of every living
object.
Regards
Yazdy Palia.
