Pankaj ji and Rashida ji have said it all, to summarize the personality of
Dr. swapna Prabhu. It feels great to be the part of the group which is full
of such great talent and fortunately with experts from all different parts
of India. I wish and hope the group will trigger somewhat latent taxonomic
activity.
When shifting from Kashmir to Delhi I had brought along most of my
personal Herbarium collection, and deposited in the herbarium of our
College. I am now in process of digitising these specimens, and once
complete, I may think of publishing this as virtual herbarium. Garg ji and
other colleagues may please suggest the best choice. Other colleagues may
think on similar lines. Virtual herbarium, Photographs in database of
Indiantreepix and Flowers of India should be a great adjunct to eflora
effort, once realised.
