*H. salicifolia*, *H. salicifolia* var. *assurgens* & *H. quadrivalvis* are very similar looking <https://sites.google.com/site/efloraofindia/species/a---l/a/acanthaceae/hygrophila/hygrophila-ringens> and can be identified by details on above features.
