Just to add... Like most of the Bignoniads (not all) this species is also pollinated by birds (ornithophilous) and seed is dispersed by air (anemochorous). I imagine why it doesnt fruit in Mumbai, because, in chotanagpur it fruits and set seeds very well. Seeds can easily be germinated too. Just put them in water for few days, they sprout. I believe in our area, it has become more like invasive, as I had to keep getting rid of the saplings from my garden regularly. Just found out on google that it is a monotypic genus!
