Raynal and *Mariscus siberianus* Nees ex C. B. Clarke is *Cyperus
cyperoides* (L.) Kuntze, because Mariscus is now treated as Cyperus. In
some earlier publications of BSI this species might have appeared under
Mariscus, because in those days that was the correct name, but now these

BSI doesn't list *Cyperus cyperoides* (l.) Kuntze. Instead, it is regarded
as synonym of *Mariscus sumatrensis* (Retz.) Raynal

Another synonym of the taxon is *Mariscus siberianus* Nees ex C. B. Clarke.
Given that it has been identified so can you please tell me if this species
