Dear all,
Efi site will be completing 5 years on 4.11.15.

Now the question is how to move ahead in the present circumstances ?
Earlier we were handicapped in our website due to non-insertion of images.
But things have recently dramatically changed as we are able to insert
images in our website pages. And it has been working fine.

As everybody knows, pictures are our biggest assets as far as efloraofindia
e-group & site is concerned as we have more than 2 lakh images. If we put 3
to 5 images on every page, we can have around 50,000 pictures being
depicted on our website pages.

We have plenty of work going on like new postings, monthly fortnights,
identification of unidentified posts, resurfacing of posts, putting every
post at efi site, making of genera pages (where still lot of work has to be
done as I have missed earlier deadline of 31.12.14 & now it seems it will
require many more years), adding information from CC by sources at our
website along with its proper formatting etc. along with insertion of
images.

A few members have come forward for insertion of images which will truly
show our potential. However, this appears to be quite slow. I am not able
to take up this activity due to engagement in so many other activities for
which no body has come forward in a substantial way.

Summing up, there is a substantial interest from everybody in efi e-group
activities, but not much as far as efi site (which has now become our
biggest asset) is concerned even though it will be completing five years
very shortly.

My question is can we divert some of our resources from efi group work to
efi site work. Will it be the right direction ? Are members willing here to
join me in efi site work including insertion of images (at least their own
images, to start with).

Everybody's views & feedback is requested.
