Dear friends ... there is another close species ... Jacaranda obtusifolia ssp. 
rhombifolia
Not familiiar with this species though have photos of it here:

Ajinkya Gadave helped me with the ID at my flickr photostream.


Branches reaching for sky, (upright oriented) remind me of this J. obtusifolia 
ssp. rhombifolia
Some clarity / discussion will help me.
