That may be just because it is found only in the Himalayan foothills, and
not the Himalayas. According to Flora of Morni Hills, it is found in Morni
hills. However,* Dicliptera chinensis* is supposed to have a very wide
distribution, from E. Afghanistan to SE Asia.
