I think the local timber depot has named some "wood" as *panchras*. I am not aware of it. Literal meaning of *panchras* is mixture of five juices - the name is used in ayurveda, referring to various mixtures of five different species of plants, used in medical treatment. Try google searching these word variants of *panchras*: पांचरस, पंचरस, पंचारस I could not find any single species by that name. Regards. Dinesh
