Apparently, the Indian rupee already has a sign encoded in the Unicode
standards.

Honestly, I never noticed this till the subject of the Ministry
discussing a new symbol for the Indian Rupee came up for discussion.

The Pakistani locale (en_PK) uses this symbol; but the
standard specifies it as the Indian rupee. 

Any reason this is not used anywhere by us?
