ya.. misalnya kita install procmail, fetchmail atau yang lainnya dimana program tersebut sangat tergantung kepada smtp protocol seperti sendmail maka mau tidak mau kita harus install itu sendmail atau kita cari alternatif lain spt qmail, postfix, exim atau apa aja. biasanya setelah sendmail di uninstall system tidak akan menghapus file configurasi dari sendmail tersebut jika suatu waktu kita akan membutuhkannya dan akan ditambahkan akhiran SAVE contoh sendmail.mc.Save
