Green Peace says thanks to you!

Five days into our campaign to get Nestlé to give rainforests a break - and
already over 615.000 views on the video that started it all!

Thanks to your amazing support our campaign to stop Nestlé using palm oil
from destroyed forests has started off with a bang! Below is an update on
what has happened over the first few days of the campaign and also an update
on the next step:

b=0&j=NjkzNTQ1NDAS1&mt=1&rt=0> Within a few hours of launching our video was
removed from YouTube at Nestlé's request - so naturally we moved it over to
Vimeo and made copies available to anyone who wanted to upload it. It
quickly collected over 180.000 views within 24 hours on all different
versions - some uploaded by you!

The Kit Kat Facebook fan page was shut down within the first day and the
next day Nestlé was treated to a barrage of complaints on its Facebook page
after it began deleting comments made by those of you who had used the
'Killer' logo or another altered Nestlé logo as your profile picture.

amazing online support the campaign has generated so far. We'll keep it
updated with the latest - and please share what you are doing to ask Nestlé
to give rainforests a break in the comments!

Nestlé is claiming to have cleaned up its act by canceling contracts with
palm oil supplier and forest destroyer Sinar Mas - but this is not enough.
Nestlé must remove palm oil that comes from forest destruction from its
supply chain completely.

The next step in the campaign that is being referred to as "Kitkatastrophe"
and "Chocolate-scandal" is coming - this Wednesday March 22nd. What better
way to mark the one week anniversary of the campaign launch then have our
next online action?

We'll be in touch on Wednesday with all the details!

Thank you for joining the campaign and defending rainforests,

Laura, Jamie, Nick & the rest of the Kit Kat campaign crew
