Actually it was published by Oxford University Press. Munshiram is a
plagiarized version.

Hello Gleb,

To add to the already-mentioned resources, depending on your student's level of
proficiency, Patrick Olivelle's 1998 The Early Upaniṣads, published with
Munshiram Manoharlal Publishers, gives the Sanskrit text with page-facing
English translations. It is quite navigable.

Take care,
Eric

I was trying to find Hock’s text’s name and was beat to it! It’s a great reader.

Dear colleagues,

A student of mine asks whether there exists a user-friendly reader with literal
(interlinear) word-to-word
translations, which engages the texts of the early Upaniṣads in the way the new
Pāli reader of Bhikkhu Bodhi
(2020) engages the Pāli texts.

I was able to suggest only the ISKCON version of the Īśopaniṣad and An Early
Upaniṣadic Reader (2007) by
Hans Heinrich Hock (the latter publication is very close to what my student
expects, but it places the glossary (or
vocabulary) at the end of the book, making it harder for a beginner to use, and
the translations are not literal).

Are there other similar readers?
