SV: Problem checking in large files

Example, a 2.24 MB ear-file becomes approx. 200 bytes in CVS, and the scary thing is that it looks like it went just fine from the clients point of view!? It works ok if we do it locally on the cvs-server machine.   Is there a max file size somewhere that we have to configure?
