http://lists.gnu.org/archive/cgi-bin/namazu.cgi?query=Log+keyword&submit=Search%21&idxname=info-cvs&max=20&result=normal&sort=score http://lists.gnu.org/archive/cgi-bin/namazu.cgi?query=%24Log%3A&submit=Search%21&idxname=info-cvs&max=10&result=normal&sort=date%3Alate <SNIP> If I Recall Correctly, $Log:$ is expanded on checkout, so the last (chronological) log entry seen in a Log in a sandbox has not yet been checked into CVS. Therefore, the repository knows nothing about it, and can not annotate what to it does not exist. I have not used $Log:$ in so long that I don't even have a repository around to verify the correct/incorrect-ness of my statement by reading a ,v file. > Can anyone else confirm the bug? > Please read some of the information in the above links & comments, and see if you still believe that 1) it is a bug (please drop a line to the list either way), and 2) that you could convince others to accept a change you made supporting the Log keyword. -- Todd Denniston Crane Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC Crane) Harnessing the Power of Technology for the Warfighter _______________________________________________ Info-cvs mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/info-cvs
