Thanks. How do I determine for sure what my server is using?
Is there a command I can run to tell me whether or not
I am using a self-signed certificate? Also, who is Thawte
and how do I actually get the certificate from them?

Thanks,

-Ed

It sounds like the server is using a self-signed certificate. This is not a
client certificate issue. Outlook and Outlook Express are very disagreeable with
self-signed certs. IE on the Mac will actually prevent pages from loading whose
servers are using self-signed certs. Once I got a real certificate from Thawte,
these messages went away. Cost is $100.
