Hi Pankaj, I forgot to mention that I did try this also. I am running GNU Emacs 30.2. I've tried installing several older versions, down to 26.3, but this bug transcends them all. It's getting even stranger. I forwarded the hidden message to a different address, but GNUS shows the *previous* message from the same sender as been forwarded. All this is in IMAP. However, in the local mbsync'd copy, everything looks normal. Go figure. GNUS's really acting up on me lately: https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/info-gnus-english/2025-10/msg00000.html Perhaps I should wipe .newsrc.eld out on each upgrade. Maybe that'll help.
