Precisely so. You're getting the hang of this!

As you haven't set configured splitting, it will put the email the
group bogus¹.

This is documented in section 6.4.3 Splitting Mail² in the manual:

|  If no rule matched, the mail will end up in the ‘bogus’ group.

The manual can be overwhelming, but it is also chock full of relevant
information.
