We spend approximately between $40-50,000 on technology in my district, that
does not include my salary. We try to figure the cost on a per pupil basis of
$110 per pupil. I try to stay between $90-110 but it depends on what we are
doing.
BTW: The best thing I ever did was put in a desktop rotation so that every
year my board is aware of desktop updates. We now go about every 3 years
before I update computers in each area. That doesn't mean I buy brand new
machines, just means I buy newer machines.
