Humboldt uses a hardware/software solution that is second to none.  Not only can you use it to monitor their activity, it also gives you valuable stats about your network and its health.  If you would like to know more, please respond to my address directly and I will share more about it.

Then to control the desktop of the computer we are using Netop Remote for the Tech and Netop Student for the teachers.  It has really improved the use of the network.  The students seem to be staying on task more than before.  The constant sneakness has been taken away since they know they can not get away with it any longer.  Also hardware vandalism has seem to vanish, compared to last year as well.

We use Vision by Master Solution and are happy with how it works.

Subject: [info-tech] Computer Monitoring Software

We are looking for a good Computer Monitoring software program so we can monitor what students are doing on their computers. (In Study Halls, Library, and Computer Labs)  Classroom use such as Net-Op School has would be nice but not a must.  I would like to compare prices on different software packages.  Any Suggestions, Pros, Cons, Etc.  Thanks.
