Here in the wild wild West, USB's run amuck on the network. Thanks to Sansa drives preloading skype (blocked at the router) and other programs running (I think it's called U3), it's tempting to find a sale on super glue and visit all 170 tablets. I really don't have an answer, Active Directory could work in some cases, but that interferes with the concept of ubiquitous computing. We've been slowly beefing up the internal reporting with features in snort and other open source material, but haven't discovered the cure.
