Paul, I don't know if you are a Windows or MAC camp but I'll throw this out for what it is worth. Obtain the book:
Windows server 2003/2000 Terminal Server Solutions 3rd edition The author is Todd W. Mathers Read and study this and you will be successful in your implementation. It covers it all: Thins, Citrix, RDP, Printing, Configuration, Registry, Best practices, etc. The second edition helped me successfully implement Thins in a corporate setting at a previous job. Hope to finish a thin client project this summer after I rewire the Humboldt High School Media center. This would be in a K-8 one building setting. I would be interested in any advice or experiences that anyone has had with this. How many application connections to the server is typical? Can I set up this up using Linux and still run Microsoft Office applications? Thanks for the help Paul Titonka School --- [This E-mail scanned for viruses by Declude Virus on the server aea8.k12.ia.us] --------------------------------------------------------- Archived messages from this list can be found at: http://www.mail-archive.com/info-tech@aea8.k12.ia.us/ --------------------------------------------------------- --- [This E-mail scanned for viruses by Declude Virus on the server aea8.k12.ia.us] --------------------------------------------------------- Archived messages from this list can be found at: http://www.mail-archive.com/info-tech@aea8.k12.ia.us/ ---------------------------------------------------------
