I too would be interested in finding out what is involved in setting up an
inhouse United/DE server. What are the costs and requirements for server
horsepower.

Thanks,
Tony Richardson,
Technology Coordinator

It would probably be best to talk a little about how to implement a streaming
server for the district. I may recommend that you install a server in each
HS/MS due to the limited bandwidth between buildings (Unless that is now not an
issue). If you have fiber between North HS and North MS then you can use 1
server for both facilities.

Did you find any manuals or info on the Video Conferencing system? If you want
I can see if I can get some more info on that.

Are you using the archive portion of Lightspeed? What functions are you using
with the product for the district.

Pella schools I have heard is using Moodle quite a bit. I will have to track
down a contact name for you if you want it.
