I too would be interested in finding out what is involved in setting up an inhouse United/DE server. What are the costs and requirements for server horsepower. Thanks, Tony Richardson, Technology Coordinator Humboldt Community School District [EMAIL PROTECTED]

I may recommend that you install a server in each HS/MS due to the limited bandwidth between buildings (Unless that is now not an issue). If you have fiber between North HS and North MS then you can use 1 server for both facilities. Did you find any manuals or info on the Video Conferencing system? If you want I can see if I can get some more info on that. Are you using the archive portion of Lightspeed? What functions are you using with the product for the district. Pella schools I have heard is using Moodle quite a bit. I will have to track down a contact name for you if you want it. ---------- Original Message ---------------------------------- From: "Henn, Layne" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Reply-To: info-tech@aea8.k12.ia.us Date: Fri, 8 Feb 2008 16:21:49 -0600 >Scott: >I have a few things. >1.
