Good Afternoon,
Please note from the information below that Special Education staff will be
utilizing both Version 4 and Version 5 of the Web IEP for a brief time from
November 3rd - approx. December 8th. The information for the release of the
Web IEP was e-mailed to Special Education teachers last week inviting them to a
training via ICN of the changes to the Web IEP. If you have questions please

Release Date: The release date of Version 5 of the Web IEP is set for Monday,
November 3. This will allow for the completion of programming and testing
prior to the release.
Some basic details regarding this release are:
November 1 - 2 Web IEP will be temporarily suspended so Version 5 can be
brought on-line.
November 3 - December 5 a.. Use Version 5 to write new IEPs with meeting
date of November 1 and after.
b.. Use Version 4 to submit, review and implement IEPs with a meeting
date of October 31 or before.
December 5 (evening) - December 7 Both Versions 4 and 5 will be
temporarily suspended in order to complete the transition to Version 5.
December 8 - on a.. The most recently implemented IEP for each
child/student will be moved from Version 4 to Version 5.
b.. Version 4 can be used to view historical records and to run IMS
reports on the Main Menu.
Supported Browsers: The following browsers will be tested and supported:

a.. For PC - Internet Explorer Versions 6 and 7 and Firefox Version 3.0
b.. For Macintosh - Firefox Version 3.0 (requires OS 10.4 or newer)
2.. Safari will no longer be tested and supported.
3.. The supported list of specific versions will be identified at a later
time.

Note: The Web IEP and Reports may work with other browsers. However, any
