The big hook that got many of our teachers going with it is that is
grades quizzes for you. Plus if your textbook came with Exam View you
can import those questions directly into Moodle. (There are issue with
math questions, but the other subjects work great) Okoboji Community
Schools uses it extensively and the teachers are beginning to explore
the other capabilities such as posting notes so students have 24/7
access to them, discussion boards are popular in the Social Studies
department, questionnaires are have also proven very useful for various
projects. We also use it for our professional development. Posting
needed materials, surveys, instructions, etc. I use it in conjunction
with Jing to post video tutorials for common tasks. If you have further
questions let me know.

Can anyone out there give me a simple reason or list of reasons that my
teachers would want to use Moodle? As I work with it I think its great
but I need a solid hook to tell our teachers why Moodle would help them.

Thanks,
