When you say problems, do you mean like "Why is my network so slow?" if so, I
use prtg to show me who is going where on the network/internet. I just have a
port on our core switch setup for mirroring, then prtg sniffs it and puts it
all in a very readable format that I can access through a webpage. It's free
and shows me exactly what I want to see.

Is there any program out there that can detect issues that is causing problems
with our network? If so please give me some answers.
