At East Sac we have a full-time person that is with the deaf student all day
and signs for the student and Newell-Fonda does the same. Other than the
teacher writing out notes every day, I don't know of any software that would
work.

Subject: [info-tech] Note taking for deaf student

Hello all,

We have a deaf student in our High School and are trying to figure out how
to get the teachers lecture visually recorded for him everyday. The Special
Ed people have tried Dragon Naturally Speaking and wireless Bluetooth
headsets and an associate to go along with him. You can imagine how badly
that works. How are other districts handling the deaf students? Anyone got
any ideas?

Thanks,

Tony Richardson
