I went back to the Computer manager, and saw new tasks, so I followed the wizard. (I set up the folder manually the first time, so I unshared it.) It gave a window that referred to the mac share which was not available manually. Simple solution, but sure took a lot of head scratching. I wonder if I'll remember this the next time I have to do it. I'll guess I'll just have to follow the wizard.
