Keep in mind that if you buy the new Nano you'll also be buying a video
camera and audio recorder at the same time (no extra hardware required).

We have a few Nanos that have been given out to our TAG and Music
programs.  Haven't heard of any problems, but I cannot confirm their
regular use either.  Some of those Nano's have the Belkin recorder that
enables them to create their podcasts.  Seems to work pretty slick.  We
had an extra set so we have given it to a Special Ed room for notes and
things so the students can record them.

 

I haven't heard any good or bad things.
