Okoboji has student email. We host it ourselves using hMailserver. It is for
acedemic purposes only and I closely monitor it. Every email incoming and
outgoing, goes to a folder in my email account and I check it at least once a
day or so. Violations of the acedemic use stipulation causes loss of email
privileges. We don't have many issues since the kids know I check it often. It
is quit handy for communication an since we do not allow flash drives, it is
really the only way for the students to transfer files to home and back.

Subject: [info-tech] Student Email Policies

Hello All,

I am wondering if any of the school districts out there are allowing
student's access to email, and if so are you willing to share your email
policy with me. Here in Pocahontas we are in the final stages of
implementing our 1 to 1's and just trying to tie up some loose ends.

Thanks
