Hello,

you can try the ManageSieve server - timsieved - with different clients:
https://code.guido-berhoerster.org/projects/sievemgr/ (command line)
• openssl s_client -connect HOST:4190 -starttls 4190 (command line, but more
hard core)
* with a plugin to Thunderbird (GUI) -
https://addons.thunderbird.net/bg/thunderbird/addon/sieve/versions/ or
https://github.com/thsmi/sieve . This worked for sure some time ago, so you
might want to try with an older Thunderbird version.
* managesieve in Python - https://pypi.org/project/managesieve/ (command line)
* Roundcube

If these clients work, then the server is setup correctly. Questions about
configuring EGroupware with any properly running ManageSieve server are better
asked on a place with more EGroupware expertise.

If you can upload Sieve scripts in Cyrus IMAP with the vacation extension then
I cannot think of any reason why the vacation replies should not work. You can
construct some trivial Sieve script with vacation, upload it using a working
ManageSieve client, e.g. mentioned above, and then try to verify that the Sieve
script does what it is supposed to do.

> undefined symbol: cap_free at /usr/lib/perl5/5.42/core_perl/DynaLoader.pm

is an unpleasant message, but it is perl ralated - so in the ManageSieve
client. The easiest workaround is that you take a different client.

Hi

I am trying to get Sieve (vacation notice) back to work with cyrus 3.10.
However, I cannot.

I have used cyrus 2.6 previously with group-e and it worked well. Since
the update, it does not work in Group-E. In Egroupware (new replacement
groupware) there is no difference in "absence notice" on or off, i.e. it
seems as it does not work.

I have no idea how it may work or be tested. Also, according to the docs
there is a kind of web-gui, which I cannot get to work either. Also not
the calendar thing.

Is there a comprehensive howto or so where I can double check and set it
up? It seems also that all other configuration tools as webmin or so
stopped supplying plugins for cyrus 3.x

Thanks

T
