The key here is 5 minutes which suggest that your CPU is overheating
for some reason.
* overclocking cpu - check jumper settings.
* fan - check all fans, including cpu (if any), case fan, and power supply
fan. also, check the bios setting, some have auto shutdown features
to prevent overheating which could point you to an overheating
problem.
refer to your motherboard jumper settings for your specific cpu -- is it
compatible with your cpu (is it listed in the manual)? check the voltage
settings. visit the motherboard manufacters homepage for current
errata.
Did this occur before the hardware replacements? Could he have
misdiagnosed the original problem (not uncommon)?
What type of CPU do you have? I have a box of bad CPUs all of which
gave different problems similar to yours. If the CPU has been
overclocked or over heated, it's very possible it is damaged. Some will
dump core or display divide overflow before finally just not working at
all or rebooting the system at random.
As you know, I cannot diagnos your system through email, but only
give you an idea of what to look for. Good luck!
