I haven't time it but it should be fairly quick. You can do a test by passing the tag a query to run and specifying a temp spool directory so that the mail is not actually delivered (SPOOLDIR parameter). The cfx tag basically writes out the email and control files into the iMS spool and then iMS does the delivery.
