Thanks Kym,

Part of the problem may be that we do not run IIS.

The 'readme.txt' file in the '1' directory says...
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
This file was created by the JRun Connector Installer.
Do not delete this directory or the files in it because your web server
configuration files contain references to the files in this directory.

web server: Apache
web server version: 2.0.47
directory: C:/Program Files/Apache Group/Apache2/conf
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Can you have more than one connector installed?

Thanks,

Brett

Hi Brett,

Two differences that I noted were the directory that the connector was installed into and the name of the connector.

Dir: C:\CFusionMX\runtime\lib\wsconfig\
instead of C:\CFusionMX\runtime\lib\wsconfig\1\

and the name of the dll: jrunwin32.dll instead of jrun.dll

There is such a dll in ...\wsconfig but that is not the one to use. There should be \1 directory below the wsconfig one, with the jrun.dll in it. If not then the CFMX install has not been finished properly. Did you run the connector batch file to pick up all of the IIS instances if you were installing over an existing installation? That is when that folder gets created and the jrun instances put in it IIRC.

It also has a couple of other files in there and a readme text file that says this:
.........................................................
This file was created by the JRun Connector Installer.
Do not delete this directory or the files in it because your web server
configuration files contain references to the files in this directory.

web server: IIS
web server version: 5.0
IIS web site: All (0)
.......................................................
