Can you serve CFM pages via IIS? I doubt it. The IIS connectors should create the numbered directories within the wsconfig dir. Open up the mappings for an IIS website and look at the cfm mapping. You should be able to cut and paste this path for use with IMS.

If the CFM mappings are not available within IIS, re-run the connector bat files.

Hi Howie,

I followed the instructions in the quick start guide about installing the IIS connector and changing the DLL but for some reason it did not work for me.

Two differences that I noted were the directory that the connector was installed into and the name of the connector.

Dir: C:\CFusionMX\runtime\lib\wsconfig\
instead of C:\CFusionMX\runtime\lib\wsconfig\1\

and the name of the dll: jrunwin32.dll instead of jrun.dll

I applied jrunwin32.dll anyway but the error in the POP log was:

[001] WARNING: inFusionEngine error: C:\CFusionMX\runtime\lib\wsconfig\jrunwin32.dll does not export "GetExtensionVersion"

Can you help?

Thanks

Settings for the application server are configured in the inFusionEngine settings from the configurator File menu. There is a description on setting iMS up for CFMX in the iMS Quick Start Guide (pg 10) which is available on our downloads page.

Subject: [iMS] Upgrade to CFMX

Hi,

I've just noticed something a bit strange... I upgraded a server to CF6.1 a couple of weeks ago and have been under the impression that everything including iMS was working fine. This morning however I saw that the CF4.5 service was still running, though I was sure I had turned it off, so I shut it down and disabled it. Checking my email a little later however generated a "USER" error so I checked the logs and nothing had been working since I shut down CF4.5. I restarted the iMS services but still no response. I then restarted the CF4.5 service and the email services are working again.

I've searched the configurator and the list archives but I can't find anything that suggests what configuration item I have missed or what I might have done wrong.

Has anyone else seen this or have a solution?

Thanks,

Brett
