We ended up detaching the css from the email and having it pulled from the
server as they open the message.

Subject: [iMS] Strange Problem with classes, dots and iMS Post
Hi all,
We're having a small issuette with class dots, by this I mean we have an
email which we send that has style tags and classes. If we do a normal send
with the CFX tag then the email ends up OK. If we create a query and pass
the query to the tag (for a bulk send) then the email doesn't look quite
right.
After much playing around it turns out to do with dots. The top of our html
looks something like...
<html>
<head>
<style>
Tr,td {}
.white {}
.foo {}
</style>
Looking at the final source in the email client the single sends are fine,
the bulk send's style tag looks like
<style>
Tr,td {}
white {}
foo {}
</style>
Stopping the iMS Post service so that we can get what the post service was
going to send shows that single sends doubles up the dots where as the
URLEncoded version of the bulk send does not.
Does anyone know whats going on here and how to rectify this (ideally
without having to change the template as this is created by 3rd parties so
we don't have full control of this process)
TIA
Mikey
