We are experiencing something like 30 second delays when sending emails from our POP clients. This happens from Outlook Express and Eudora.
Looking at the SMTP debug logs shows that the transaction only takes a couple of seconds. On the client side I see the client waiting on the EHELO [?SP?] for the 30 seconds.
This did not happen with my previous installation of IMS, so I am guessing some setting has to be tweaked.
DNS reports that the A and PTR records for the mailserver are in sync and make sense.
Since I see no delays in the SMTP debug logs, not sure where to look next?
