Howie,
I was wondering if anyone has had a chance to look at this issue? I was just checking my mail folders and see thousands of these orphans as before.
An explicit case, I have a domain set up for forwarding only with one account and two aliases (total of three email addresses for the account) being forwarded to three different addresses.
There are now folders within the mail folder with emails for each of the aliases comprising thousands of emails. FYI, This is for one domain account, and I have a number of these type of accounts:
eg; Folders:
IMS -> Mail -> Domain.com -> alias1/alias2/alias3 where alias1 had 2500 emails where alias2 had 1200 emails where alias3 had 300 emails
All of the forwarding works fine, it's just that these are all left behind.
TIA,

I'm not sure that it has anything to do with the multiple aliases. The way FM is supposed to work is that each time a client deletes an email file it checks to see if there are any other owners of the email (a single mail file may be owned by multiple recipients). It's possible that the mail files are not being deleted as they should so I'll have this checked out before 2.7 is released (2.7 has a lot of nice new features, BTW).
Regards,
Howie
