well i' m digging out this somewhat old mail now.

Do you have a status of initng 0.7.0? We now did our release with the old
sysvinit, but planning for the new onw is on its way.

I'm still searching for a solution and now one needs to be chosen within
the next few days. There are 2 possibilities.... upstart and initng. BTW,
i like yours more, but development seems to be  stuck somehow. I know, you
are mostly doing this all alone. My problem for now is that if switching
to initng and it is dead in about half a year... i need to switch over to
something else again.

Did you had time to look into that splash thing too?
