hello, Just wanted to recheck on status re this thread. At present we have a user-base to which we recommend: - - download latest 5.8.x ActivePerl dist - [>] ppm install http://theoryx5.uwinnipeg.ca/ppms/Inline-Java.ppd - [>] set PERL_INLINE_JAVA_J2SDK=C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.5.0_09
this works well (Inline::Java v0.51) & is simple. But seeing the 0.52 release, I thot we may be able to simplify further to [>] ppm install Inline::Java ...but at least on my activestate ppm 0.52 doesnt show up in available package upgrades. Do activestate repositories not reflect latest CPAN dist? Also, wanted to check on WinXP issue - i.e. didnt understand comment "Please Don't test integration on Windows XP". 0.51 works fine on XP.
