That's too bad--it eliminates a lot of older hardware from installing OS from 
the CD/DVD media. That, in turn, can turn a lot of (new, potential) people away 
from OS. If people can run a fully operational install of, say, SUSE, and the 
same hardware can't even _install_ OS, what kind of message does that send 
them? :-(
