I currently run SXDE 1/08 on a Dell Latitude D820, though I'm having trouble installing Opensolaris. Belenix as a live CD also works, and a hard drive install works. The laptop has a gig of ram.
I also tried it on a Dell Optiplex P4 1 gig of memory and the install hung. Also tried on a older laptop (2 different CD's so it's not the media) and that hung. Anyway on the laptop this is what I'm seeing. svc.startd [7] SVC:/system/cryptosvc:default Method or service exit timed out. Killing contract 16 Repeats till end of screen then Failed due to signal kill at the end of the message. Thanks in advance. BTW 3 different machines 2 different cd's.
