In order to do it, after you boot LiveCD, please run following commands from terminal window: $ export LS_DBG_LVL=4 $ pfexec /usr/bin/gui-install After installer hangs for some time in disk discovery phase, could you please provide content of /tmp/install_log file ? Also, how long is installer hanging there ? Is it finally able to finish that phase or is it hanging there forever (hours) ?
