Indiana is newer than Nevada in that there is technology in Indiana that
hasn't been integrated into Nevada yet.  Nevada was based on Solaris 10
when it first came into existence, but it's long beyond that now to
where it really is it's own entity.  So it's based on Solaris 10 in the
same way as Solaris 10 was based on Solaris 9.

Most of the development isn't happening just in Indiana, since Indiana
is merely a project.  There a LOTS of projects going on in OpenSolaris,
most if not all have roots in Nevada in some form or other.

As for what Solaris 11 will look like (if there even is a Solaris 11,
Sun Marketing names the releases for all we know it could be Solaris 12
or something else entirely) is entirely up in the air at this point.
