What works for me: First up, if you want dual boot XP and Solaris, install XP first, and leave enough space for Solaris as blank space (no partition).
XP can be installed second, but it is easier to install it first. When installing SXDE, use the second install option, not the first. You can install the developer tools later. Using the second install option gives you way more disk management. BTW, if you are seriously interested in using Solaris, install on the entire disk and use VirtualBox for XP. -- Tony Reeves Christchurch New Zealand
