Hi I just tried to start the installation of SXDE 09/07. I'd like to upgrade a Solaris 10 Update 3 installation. This installation is split over two fdisk partitions, one of about 5Gbytes with /usr, and one with about 23Gbytes with / and swap.
The installer failed to detect this configuration. It did detect one of the fdisk partitions, but it indicated that something like there was the 'wrong meta group installed' (I'll try again, and note which disk, and the exact message). I couldn't see any 'Advanced' option for me to show exactly which partitions to use. Is there any way around this? A+ Paul This message posted from opensolaris.org
