StarOffice is part of the Solaris 10 8/7 DVD, and should have been installed automatically if you selected any install option from End User on up. Can you give more information about why you don't think you have StarOffice installed? The main package name is SUNWsom for non-Asian locales, and SUNWsoam for Asian locales (which installs StarSuite rather than StarOffice).
