Sarah and Narendra: I had talked to Simon privately and his SunBlade 150 had 512 MB of Memory. It hangs everytime he tries to do a DVD GUI install. After he hit the Next button to start the install, it just never proceeds further.
I suspect that he ran into this bugid: 6512362 1 1 Install hangs on systems with 512 MB of memory in snv_55a even after 6423854 is integrated. His install is successful if he do the text mode with snv_55b: ok boot cdrom - text I had updated the bugid with his machine information and the symptoms that he saw. Simon said that he will try snv_56 and get the data of /tmp if it fails again.
