Do you believe this particular layout will be helpful to customers which buy Sun hardware to use as a desktop/workstation? To be honest with you, I do not. Most people aren't even aware that there is such a thing as "live upgrade" in Solaris. And as Solaris picks up volume with end users, not sysadmins, I believe that the target audience has to be taken into account.
